Assessment of EMS solutions

EMS Benchmark surveys hundreds of EMS providers and tests and compares their systems. The assessment considers product functionality, technical development and performance in the intended application.

Commercial and industrial systems are assessed separately from residential systems. This allows the jury to consider the operating requirements, scale and users of each category.

20 independent industry experts

The awards are decided by a jury of 20 independent experts from the energy management sector. Its assessment draws on supplier information, testing and comparisons of the systems.

Technical innovation, integration, reliability and ease of use are central to the assessment. The jury considers these qualities in relation to each system’s intended application.
